Shipping and Returns Info

As a small business and winery we strive to offer the best possible service and support. There are still limitations to what we can offer and do.

There are certain states and counties to which we cannot ship. By placing an order, you authorize us to act on your behalf to engage a common carrier to deliver your order to your selected destination.

By placing your order, you certify under penalty of perjury that you and the recipient are at least 21 years old. When the wine is delivered, the recipient will be required to show identification proving that he or she is at least 21 years old.

To process an order, we may require your name, the recipient’s name, you and the recipient’s home or other physical address, including street name and name of city or town, state, zip code, email address, telephone number, date of birth and your credit card number. It is a condition of your participation that all the information you provide is true, correct, current, and complete. You agree that all information you provide to the Company is governed by our Privacy Policy, and you consent to all actions we take with respect to your information consistent with our Privacy Policy.

Please note:

All prices are listed in US dollars. All orders will include delivery charges, and applicable sales tax.

After you place an order, you will receive an e-mail confirming that your order has been submitted. If the items are all in stock, you will receive an email from the shipping carrier when the items leave the warehouse.

 

Weather Notification:

In severe weather conditions, the shippers do not guarantee delivery on time, and there may be delays due to extreme heat or cold. Be sure to keep the current weather in mind when you are picking your shipping destination. The Company reserves the right to hold back wine shipments to protect the integrity of the wine in extreme or severe weather conditions.

 

COMPLIANCE WITH LAWS

Due to the restrictions of many state laws, we only ship wine to those states where direct shipment is permitted by law. In addition, certain states impose limitations on the amount of wine any adult resident of those states may receive by direct shipment. To ensure that you can order wine for direct shipment from our website, please consult the specific state requirements for your state.

Please note that all orders must be placed by persons over the age of 21 years, and that age verification will be required upon receipt of the wine. No wine will be delivered to visibly intoxicated persons and any person unable to provide age verification will forfeit their right to receive the shipment until identification is produced. In such circumstances the order may either be held in storage at a local depot of the shipping company until appropriate identification is produced or shipped back to the winery. All associated costs will be the responsibility of and be charged to the customer.

We currently only ship to: Alabama, Arizona, Arkansas, California, Colorado, Connecticut, Delaware, Florida, Georgia, Idaho, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Louisiana, Maine, Maryland, Massachusetts, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Montana, Nebraska, Nevada, New Jersey, New Mexico, New York, North Carolina, North Dakota, Ohio, Oregon, Oklahoma, Pennsylvania, Rhode Island, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, Vermont, Virgina, Washington, Washington D.C, West Virginia, Wisconsin, Wyoming.

Shipments of wine must be received and signed for by a person 21 years or older. We recommend having wine shipments sent to a home or office where someone is present during the day to receive packages. This helps avoid re-delivery and returned shipments fees. We cannot be responsible for wine if our delivery partners are unable to reach you or an eligible party for signature and delivery. 

The wine ships from California. Shipping time can vary depending on order day, time, and destination. Orders within California normally take 1-2 business days & to New York 4-6 business days. Please be prepared to wait up to 5-14 days to receive your wine. This timeframe is a guideline and doesn't guarantee an arrival time for your wine. The best way to do that is via tracking information emailed to you.


RETURNED Packages and RE-ROUTES:

1. If your package is RETURNED to us and you want your package re-shipped you may be required to pay a $20 return fee + a new shipping charge. Email us at hello@novumcellars.com to coordinate the re-ship. We are not made aware of returns until they reach our warehouse, this may happen a week or more after your last failed delivery attempt. You can also opt to get a refund on your shipment minus the carrier return fee and original shipping fee.

2. If you gave us an incorrect address and you need a transit RE-ROUTE please email us at hello@novumcellars.com.  There is up to $20.00 fee per package for incomplete or incorrect addresses given and a re-route of the package is required. Re-routes can happen only while the package is still in transit.

We reserve the right to hold packages if inclement weather poses a risk to the wine. 

 

Damages and issues

Please inspect your order upon reception and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right. Please reach out to us at hello@novumcellars.com if you believe you’ve received a damaged or compromised product from us. 

WINE:

Due to the nature of wine, we don't accept returns. We do offer refunds or replacements for wines lost or damaged during transit. If your wine is damaged please respond to your email order confirmation with photos of the damage, or email us at hello@novumcellars.com

 

MERCH:

We don’t offer refunds, returns, or exchanges. Please reference our size guides on each item before purchase. If items are defective or received in error please email us by responding to your order confirmation. We will provide you with instructions on how to receive a replacement or a refund.
